Cube Zip

How to play Cube Zip

One line, six faces. Here are the rules, the controls for drawing and turning the cube, and the habits that make big cubes manageable.

The goal

Connect 1 to the last number in order with one unbroken line and finish on the last number. From level 201 the line must also pass through all open tiles.

Start at 1 and follow the order.

Controls

  • Drag from the glowing tip of your line to draw, or tap the next tile beside it.
  • Drag anywhere else to rotate the cube, or use the six face buttons to look around.
  • Cross an edge and the cube turns for you.
  • Tap your line to rewind it to that point.

Tips

  1. Look around before you draw. Turn the cube once to see where every number sits.
  2. Treat edges as doorways. The shortest route between two numbers often goes over an edge rather than across a face.
  3. Mind the walls on edges: a wall along an edge closes that doorway.
  4. Keep the next number reachable. If your line boxes in a tile you will need later, rewind before you commit.
  5. On full-coverage levels, start from the corners and dead ends: those tiles have the fewest ways in and out.

Questions and answers

What are the × tiles in Cube Zip?

Blocked tiles. Your line cannot pass through them, so leave them empty.

Can my line go over the edge of the cube?

Yes. Crossing an edge turns the cube and the line continues on the neighboring face, unless a wall blocks that edge.
